I haven't died. I've just been spending all my time on the Wehner book instead of finalizing the Tapscott book as I should. I will get it done. Mary Frances and I are planning an extended trip to North Carolina and Kentucky next year for research on a second book, the descendants of William Tapscott, son of Edney (my line). Keep checking back here. I hope to say "it's finished and out" in the near future.

  1. Glad to know you are still working on the book revision...and other books, I guess, too. I'm so interested in your DNA results. I had my brother's analyzed, too, but haven't made any real discoveries. I think not many Tapscotts have had their DNA tested. What do you think? Ours is on FTDNA. Which testing place did you use? I think there was one + or - difference for Doug with a a guy named Ernest Tapscott. I contacted the person by e-mail but it wasn't actually Ernest, it was his son or grandson and they didn't know anything about his ancestry. Well, that wasn't too helpful. Anyway, hope all is going well for you.

  2. I went through Ancestry for the DNA test. I've had a number of hits, but I really haven't had time to follow up on them like I should.
